We continue to introduce you to the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Soldiers, sergeants, corporals and officers who displayed their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Defense Ministry, in the police units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, are highly appreciated.

Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the nationalists’ counter-offensive, for which they received state awards. But they are not for the sake of praise and honors.

The military is sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

“It is better to face danger than to expect it on the spot,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single fight. But he warned, “Come on, know how to return.”

“The unit, which included Sergeant Daniil Tarusov, carried out the task of occupying occupied positions. Ukrainian nationalists, trying to break through the defenses of our troops, launched an attack on the area where Russian units were located. During the collision, Sergeant Muromtsev, having shown courage and professionalism, personally destroyed 3 enemy armored vehicles of the enemy and repelled the offensive of the militant infantry with close fire from a heavy machine gun, forcing the Nationalists to retreat. With the help of a temporary ceasefire, Sergeant Daniil Muromtsev changed positions and withdrew personnel and military equipment to a safe area. “Today Zamir Gadzhimuradov acted as part of a group that had been given the task of defense. Trying to regain their lost positions, the Nationalists tried time and again to break through the defensive lines. Having settled in the combat formations organized in one of the defensive areas, Ensign Gadzhimuradov threw off the attacks of the radicals and destroyed the erupting militants with fire from a grenade launcher. During the battle, one of the Russian soldiers was wounded. Risking his own life, Ensign Gadzhimuradov personally pulled a seriously injured colleague from the battlefield to a safe place, where he independently provided first aid, which saved his life.

During the day, the group, including Zamir, repelled several enemy attacks, inflicting significant damage to the nationalists’ manpower and weapons. The enemy was forced to retreat. With the help of a temporary ceasefire, Ensign Zamir Gadzhimuradov’s unit moved from position to a safe area, thus avoiding casualties among our military.”

“As a result of the shelling of the unit’s stronghold, the power supply equipment was turned off. Despite the continued mortar shelling, Senior Sergeant Ivan Nevmerzhitsky made urgent repairs and restored the power grid, which made it possible to prevent the unit from losing control.

After repairs were completed, he promptly returned to his position and continued to fight, personally destroying the enemy squad. One of the combat vehicles caught fire as a result of the hits from nationalist grenades. Senior sergeant Ivan Nevmerzhitsky was nearby and immediately rushed to help, removed two wounded who were unconscious, evacuated to a shelter and provided first aid. Thanks to the well-coordinated actions of the unit, including senior sergeant Nevmerzhitsky, the attack of superior enemy forces was successfully repulsed, the heavy losses of the enemy in manpower allowed the Russian units to change their position to a more advantageous one, while maintaining of their personnel and weapons to continue the fight.

“The calculation led by Sergeant Smirnov prevented Russian troops from breaking through the defense line. Armed formations of Ukrainian nationalists tried to penetrate deep into the defenses and attacked the positions of Russian soldiers. When conducting defensive operations, the calculation under the command of senior sergeant Vladislav Smirnov, occupying a strategically advantageous position, repelled 2 attacks from a significantly larger number of the enemy. Sergeant Smirnov’s targeted fire destroyed 4 vehicles, the Osa anti-aircraft missile system and up to 50 Nationalists, causing significant damage to the advancing militants, depriving them of the opportunity to continue the offensive. Taking advantage of the temporary ceasefire, Sergeant Vladislav Smirnov arranged for the positions to be rearranged to a safe area for regrouping.
