How to Watch Indians Games Online Without Cable 2021

The Cleveland Indians are hoping to surprise in 2021 after a tumultuous offseason that saw a major shakeup of the roster.

In 2021, Indians games will be locally televised on SportsTime Ohio, while some will be on MLB Network (out of market only, but those will also be on SportsTime Ohio), and others may be nationally televised on ESPN, Fox or Fox Sports 1.

But if you don’t have cable, here’s how you can watch a live stream of every Indians game in 2021, including options for both in-market and out-of-market fans:

Note: Heavy may earn an affiliate commission if you sign up via a link on this page

If You’re in the Indians Market: AT&T TV

AT&T TV is the only streaming service that includes SportsTime Ohio, so if you live in-market, this is the only way to watch every Indians game live online without cable.

There are four different channel packages: “Entertainment”, “Choice”, “Ultimate” and “Premier.” ESPN, Fox and FS1 are included in every bundle, while SportsTime Ohio and MLB Network are included in the “Choice” and above bundles.

The “Choice” channel package is $84.99 per month, but you can pick any package and any add-on you want with your free 14-day trial.

Note that the free trial isn’t advertised as such, but your “due today” amount will be $0 when signing up. If you watch on your computer, phone or tablet, you won’t be charged for 14 days. If you watch on a streaming device on your TV (Roku, Fire Stick, Apple TV, etc.), you will be charged for the first month, but you can get still get a full refund if you cancel before 14 days:

AT&T TV Free Trial

Once signed up for AT&T TV, you can watch every Indians game live on the AT&T TV app, which is available on your Roku, Roku TV, Amazon Fire TV or Fire Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Samsung Smart TV, iPhone, Android phone, iPad or Android tablet. Or you can watch on your computer via the AT&T TV website.

If you can’t watch a game live, AT&T TV also comes with 20 hours of Cloud DVR storage (with the ability to upgrade to unlimited hours for an extra $10 per month).

If You’re Out of the Indians Market: MLB.TV on Amazon

Amazon Prime subscribers (Prime comes with a 30-day free trial) can watch every out-of-market, non-nationally televised MLB game on the Amazon Prime MLB.TV channel.

It costs either $24.99 per month to watch every out-of-market game (“All Team Pass”) or $109.99 for the year to just watch out-of-market Indians games (“Single Team Pass”), but either option comes with a free seven-day trial:

MLB.TV Amazon Prime Free Trial

Once you’re signed up for the MLB.TV Prime Video channel, out-of-market viewers can watch Indians games live on the Prime Video app on your Roku, Roku TV, Amazon Fire TV or Fire Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Nvidia Shield, Xiaomi, Echo Show, Echo Spot, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, most Smart TV’s, iPhone, Android phone, iPad or Android tablet. You can also watch on your computer via the Amazon website.

If you can’t watch live, all games are available on-demand by the next day.

If You’re Out of the Indians Market: MLB.TV

Note: This is ultimately the same as the Amazon Prime option above, only you’ll watch games on MLB’s digital platforms instead of Amazon’s

You can watch all out-of-market, non-nationally televised MLB games via MLB.TV. It costs $24.99 per month or $129.99 for the year to watch every out-of-market game, or $109.99 for the year to just watch out-of-market Indians games, but the monthly and yearly all-team options include a free seven-day trial (the single-team option does not):

MLB.TV Free Trial

Once signed up for MLB.TV, out-of-market viewers can watch Indians games live on the MLB TV app on your Roku, Roku TV, Amazon Fire TV or Fire Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, various Smart TV’s, Samsung Smart TV, Android TV, iPhone, Android phone, iPad or Android tablet. You can also watch on your computer via the MLB.TV website.

If you can’t watch live, all games are available on-demand by the next day.

If You’re Out of the Indians Market: ESPN+

This isn’t going to be an option to watch many Indians games, but if you’re looking for a cheap way to watch a random MLB game daily, ESPN+ will have at least one out-of-market game every day during the regular season:

Watch MLB on ESPN+

In addition to one live MLB game every day, ESPN+ also has college baseball and other college sports, UFC, international soccer and dozens of other live sports, every 30-for-30 documentary, and additional original content (both video and written) all for $5.99 per month.

Or, if you also want Disney+ and Hulu, you can get all three for $13.99 per month, which works out to about 31 percent savings:

Get the ESPN+, Disney+ and Hulu Bundle

Once signed up for ESPN+, out-of-market viewers can watch select MLB games live on the ESPN app on your Roku, Roku TV, Amazon Fire TV or Fire Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, iPhone, Android phone, iPad or Android tablet.

You can also watch on your computer via ESPN.com.

Indians 2021 Season Preview

Manager: Terry Francona, 9th season (673-519)
2020 finish: 35-25 record, 2nd in AL Central; Lost in Wild Card to Yankees
Key additions: Andrés Giménez, Amed Rosario, Eddie Rosario
Notable losses: Carlos Carrasco, Adam Cimber, Delino DeShields, Brad Hand, Francisco Lindor, Tyler Naquin, Carlos Santana

After three-straight AL Central crowns, the Indians have stumbled the last two seasons, missing the playoffs in 2019 and falling in the Wild Card round during the condensed season of 2020.

The less-than-stellar results already had the fanbase in a bit of an uproar and a flurry of offseason moves that included trading franchise cornerstone Francisco Lindor to the Mets did not help the team’s cause.

While the Indians are missing some of the names that made them a consistent contender, Cleveland is embracing a dark horse role as the season kicks into gear.

“I swear, we’re gonna surprise you,” Indians slugger Franmil Reyes told reporters. “I swear. We have something special for you guys. Trust that.”

One of the key pieces that Cleveland got back in the trade of Lindor was 22-year-old prospect Andrés Giménez, who is expected to take over at shortstop after a strong spring.

“I think part of the reason we felt comfortable enough to move Amed [Rosario to the outfield] is because of what we see in Giménez,” Indians manager Terry Francona said. “But I think, again, whether it’s injuries, I think this kid is a really bright spot for us. Without just flat out saying where he’s going to play and when, he’s done a heck of a job. We really like him.”

If Giménez does take over the everyday role at shortstop, he’ll be replacing Lindor, who was a four-time All-Star with the Indians and a two-time Gold Glove winner. Francona made sure to note that the team won’t be depending on just one player to make up for the production of Lindor.

“Frankie is one of the top players in the game of baseball,” Francona said. “And that’s hard to replace. Sometimes you don’t just replace that with one bat, and we know that. And the next guy, whoever our shortstop is this year, he doesn’t have to be Francisco Lindor.”

The Yankees are projected to finish second in the AL Central, per Baseball Prospectus’ PECOTA projections. The projection has the Indians going 86-76. The Indians are +5,000 to win the World Series, meaning a $100 bet would bring back $5,000, per Odds Shark.

‘Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’ Season 4B Preview

When “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” returns for the back half of season four, superstar cast member Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi makes her triumphant return to the reality franchise.

The MTV press release teases:

Following a wildly memorable first half of season four, everyone’s favorite roommates return to take their iconic family vacation “Shore” bubble to The Poconos for the first time ever.

Last trip brought the family back together following the infamous bridesmaids’ speech, and now, once again, the roommates are packing up and inviting their friends, family and loved ones for a Jersey-style family vacation. Between engagements, birthdays and gender reveals, there’s plenty to celebrate on this trip.

From Vinny getting pro-wrestling-body-slammed by Jenni’s boyfriend and a new definition of “Italian Ice” to the first, and maybe last, Jersey Shore Family Vacation Talent Show, this season features some of the most unexpected moments yet. But the biggest Jerzday surprise comes when Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi returns to shake things up.

In a preview interview with TooFab, cast member Angelina Pivarnick said that things are definitely interesting when Polizzi returns — after all, the last time the two women saw each other was when Polizzi gave a rather mean-spirited bridesmaid speech at Pivarnick’s wedding.

“We obviously didn’t leave off on the best terms. I definitely wanted to have that sit down with her I had with the girls. You’ll see how that plays out this season,” said Pivarnick, adding, “I kind of just had my own, in my own head what I was gonna say with her, what I wanted to hash out with her and you’ll definitely see how that plays out when we have that sit-down.”

Jenni “JWoww” Farley added, “The way that they talked to each other was wild. It’s probably my most favorite part of the season that I’m looking forward to, is when they get together and have a conversation. I just think it just got reckless, which is what I loved the most about us.”

“Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

‘Top Gear America’ Hosts Race an IndyCar in Exclusive Clip [WATCH]

‘Top Gear America’ Hosts Race an IndyCar in Exclusive Clip [WATCH]

The second half of “Top Gear America” Season 1 continues on Friday with a special episode focused on the “ultimate driver’s car.” Prior to the new episode airing on the MotorTrend streaming app, the company released an exclusive clip showcasing a member of the IndyCar family. Hosts Dax Shepard, Rob Corddry, and Jethro Bovingdon attempt to outrun a professional IndyCar driver in a C8 Chevrolet Corvette, Porsche GT4, and a Lotus Evora.

The brief clip does not detail the entire race, but it provides a glimpse at the competition brewing on the race track. Corddry climbs into the passenger seat of a Honda IndyCar driven by Stefan Wilson, who will make his third Indy 500 start in 2021. Bovingdon lines up on the start/finish line in his yellow Porsche GT4 in preparation for his upcoming race.

“I’m up first in the passenger seat of the IndyCar, and I can not wait to have my face ripped off by G-forces,” Corddry states in the exclusive clip. “And I get to do it while hunting the most dangerous game — man. Or, in this case, Jethro.”

‘Top Gear America’ also previously highlighted NASCAR for a unique segment

While the challenge from Friday’s episode features an IndyCar, it is not the first time that the automotive show has heavily discussed popular motorsports. One of the first episodes of “Top Gear America” featured Shepard testing out a Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody to determine where it fits in modern America.

During his time behind the wheel, Shepard came to a startling revelation. He decided that the Hellcat is not simply a drag race monster. It is also a street-legal version of the vehicles racing around oval tracks. Granted, Dodge has not been part of NASCAR for many years, but Shepard still chose to prove his point with a special display.

“This long, sleek body is calling for something,” Shepard said. “It’s actually reminding me of [Robert] Duvall in ‘Days of Thunder’ talking about the oil pan being oversized to cut the wind down, 30-40 extra horsepower, a big fuel line for a gallon of gas. The smooth, sleek-shaped body, smooth as a bullet. That’s what this car is. This is a NASCAR.”

Shepard tested out his theory by heading to Arizona Speedway, a 3/8-mile oval in San Tan Valley. This short track has hosted Late Model cars, ASCS Wing Sprint Cars, and modified stock cars among other vehicles. ‘Top Gear America’ used the dirt track to test out a Hellcat, providing Shepard with the opportunity to slide around while detailing the history of Dodge in NASCAR and how Dodge once topped 200 mph.

The first season of ‘Top Gear America’ continues with more automotive shenanigans

GettyTop Gear America hosts meet with the press

There are currently seven episodes of “Top Gear America” available on the MotorTrend app, and the eighth will arrive on Friday to highlight the IndyCar race. Following the action-packed race, the season will continue with a truck adventure in Texas, a test of off-road toys in the Mojave Desert, and a battle between childhood “poster” cars.

As new hosts of a classic brand, Shepard, Corddry, and Bovingdon faced massive scrutiny as they approached the first season of “Top Gear America.” There were questions about whether they would try to emulate the old British hosts — Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May — or if they would try to forge a similar path to “Top Gear US.” The answer is neither.

In the first seven episodes, the new hosts have avoided filming segments in a studio or putting a celebrity in a reasonably-priced car. Instead, they put cars on full display for streamlined episodes. Part of the change is due to COVID-19, but the first season has still continued to focus solely on fast cars, unique road trips, and the occasional explosion. Of course, Shepard is involved, so he has jumped multiple vehicles to entertain himself, the viewers, and his co-hosts.

The first seven episodes of “Top Gear America” are available exclusively on the MotorTrend app, with new episodes releasing each Friday. The streaming service runs $4.99 per month or $44.99 for a one-year subscription. MotorTrend OnDemand provides an ad-free experience and access to numerous shows, such as “Fast N’ Loud” and the British “Top Gear.”

‘Hysterical’ Preview

The world of stand-up comedy is a male-dominated field. According to the FX press release for “Hysterical,” “only a tiny handful of women have broken out of the brutal world of comedy clubs to become household names.” This documentary is going to explore the rise of female stand-up comedians.

The press release continues:

After decades of fighting for a place in the spotlight, things have finally shifted. Hysterical, a feature documentary from director Andrea Nevins (“Tiny Shoulders: Rethinking Barbie”), journeys backstage and on the road with veteran comedians, rising stars and novices to discover how an intrepid group of boundary-breaking females are changing the game and exploring what it takes to become the voices of their generation and their gender.

Hysterical takes an intimate look behind the velvet curtains and beer-soaked clubs of the comedy scene into the lives of the women shattering comedy’s glass ceiling with raucous laughter and perfectly timed punch lines. From newcomers to superstars, the funniest women in comedy drop the mic with their heartfelt struggles, personal stories and hilariously bold opinions. Featuring Kelly Bachman, Margaret Cho, Fortune Feimster, Rachel Feinstein, Marina Franklin, Nikki Glaser, Judy Gold, Kathy Griffin, Jessica Kirson, Lisa Lampanelli, Wendy Liebman, Carmen Lynch, Bonnie McFarlane, Sherri Shepherd and Iliza Shlesinger.

According to the reviews of the documentary, it does not shy away from some harsh truths. The Hollywood Reporter’s review of the documentary says, “While the subjects delve into some of their most haunting professional traumas, from groping and stalking male fans to attempted sexual assault, others divulge their deepest doubts and crushed self-esteem.

And IndieWire writes, “[‘Hysterical’] really leans into that fact, not just by reminding us that yes, women had a hard time breaking into the industry, but also how often men — even friends of the female comics themselves — didn’t really see anything wrong with it. Nevins’ documentary is a fierce, frustrating, and utterly amazing look at the strength of these women comics, and how they weaponized their trauma to make us (and themselves) laugh through their tears.”

“Hysterical” premieres Friday, April 2 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
