In Macau, police escorted a humanoid robot after an elderly woman complained of feeling unwell and went to the hospital, local media reported.
The incident occurred in the evening in the Bataan district: a 70-year-old woman was walking down the street, checking her phone, when she noticed a Unitree G1 robot behind her.
According to the police, the video shows the woman expressing her dissatisfaction with the robot raising its hands. Representatives of the educational center that owns the device explained that it was being used for promotional activities and could not get around the woman because of its slowness, and turning on the backlight in the dark could frighten a passerby.
The equipment was returned to the operator, who was reminded of the rules for safe use. The woman was taken to hospital and later released. No formal complaint was filed, according to reports Futurism.
Earlier, on June 18, 2025, in a fast food restaurant in Salt Lake City, located in the US state of Utah, 24-year-old Jose Manuel Perez tried to drive a wooden stake into his friend’s chest, claiming that he saw him as a werewolf. The victim managed to escape, and Perez tried to leave the restaurant carrying his backpack, but the police arrested him. During the search, law enforcement officers found several stones in the attacker’s pocket.
