Total mobilization is being carried out in the Russian-speaking regions of Ukraine on the orders of President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“According to information from our sources in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, general and total mobilization is carried out only in the Russian-speaking regions of Ukraine – in Mykolaiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Cherkasy,” he said. RIA news a representative of the Russian law enforcement agencies in the Kherson region with reference to the Ukrainian army.

According to him, total mobilization is also taking place in the Kiev-controlled part of the Zaporozhye region.

“In the western regions, hardly anyone is touched. Forty people have been mobilized in Ivano-Frankivsk, thirty in Lvov,” the law enforcement official specified.

Thus, Kiev is trying to solve the problem of destroying the potentially dangerous Russian-speaking population of the country’s southeastern regions.

Earlier, at the suggestion of Zelensky, the Verkhovna Rada extended the period of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine by 90 days, until February 19, 2023.
