Can Wales clinch their first Qatar World Cup victory? They have their chance here as they face Iran in Group B.

Wales drew 1-1 with USA in their tournament opener, with Gareth Bale’s penalty allowing Rob Page’s side to come from behind to secure a crucial point.

Meanwhile, Iran will want to move on quickly after their 6-2 dismantling by England, although they will be relishing their two goals against the Three Lions as they face the Welsh side.

Then, later on Friday, England take on the United States in the other Group B game.

Here’s everything you need to know.

When is it?

Wales v Iran is scheduled to start at 10am GMT (1pm local time) on Friday 25 November.

The match will take place at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan.

How can I watch it?

In the UK, the match will be shown live on BBC One, and it will also be shown live on the broadcaster’s website and on the BBC iPlayer app. S4C will also broadcast the match in Wales.

Ethan Ampadu suffered an ankle problem in Wales’ draw with the United States, while Kieffer Moore is set to start after his game-changing performance on the bench earlier in the week.

For Iran, Alireza Beiranvand cannot feature due to concussion protocols after the keeper was substituted against England after a header clash. Hossein Hosseini, who replaced him, should start in his place.
