AEW Full Gear recently featured another twist in the decades-long feud between Sting and Jeff Jarrett. While Cornette is a fan of both, especially Jarrett, he recently shared his deep concerns and gripes over their match.

The Last Outlaw recently made his AEW debut and quickly went to war with Sting. The two men faced each other during their two tenures in WCW and TNA. Both legends appear to be far from over and can still move forward at their respective ages.

During the recent The Jim Cornette Experiencethe former wrestling manager shared heartfelt praise for DoubleJ and compared Bryan Danielson to him:

“No matter what you think of him, Jeff Jarrett is the best worker on the AEW roster. Bryan Danielson is probably the best in the modern style. No one is as good as Jeff Jarrett in classic pro wrestling. [But] all of that was completely denied here.” (from 03:14:42).

Cornette continued, noting how the young stars could have been used, snapping the end result of the fight:

“Jay Lethal is one of the most special talents they had, and all of that was denied here. And Darby Allin, like the unique weird charisma and people like to watch him, but he can be directed. And Sting, He’s 63, he’s an Icon They had to fuck this shit up until it was almost g**** mn unbearable They couldn’t just have a g**** tag team match mn, they couldn’t do what these guys could do. They had to do it AEW!” (from 03:15:29).

Another WWE Hall of Famer recently commented on Jarrett’s inclusion in the AEW roster. They claimed he deserved 10% of all revenue he earned in the promotion.

Jim Cornette thinks a singles match between Darby Allin and Jeff Jarrett in AEW would be a much better move

Jim Cornette is clearly a fan of The Last Outlaw because, despite his troubles with the game, he had resounding praise for the veteran. Plus, it looks like Cornette wants DoubleJ to rub off on Darby Allin.

During the same episode, the former wrestling manager claimed that a singles fight between the two would be the best of Allin’s career:

“I would love – I would pay to see Jeff Jarrett and Darby Allin have a twenty minute singles match where no one was allowed to touch the arena floor or they would be electrocuted to death. And I bet that would be the best match Darby never had and a better match than most of them [matches on the card].” (from 03:19:47).

While it remains to be seen if the feud between the stars is finally over, at 55, Jeff Jarrett could still have plenty of juice in his tank. Stinger has shown throughout his AEW tenure that he can always go with the best of them.
