ONE Strawweight World Champion Joshua Pacio prepares for his ONE 164 headliner against No. 1 strawweight contender Jarred “The Monkey God” Brooks. Ahead of their December showdown, “The Passion” spoke with ONE Championship about some of the upcoming fights he is looking forward to.
Specifically, the Muay Thai Featherweight World Championship fight between reigning titleholder Petchmorakot Petchyindee and his challenger Tawanchai PK.Saenchai. The two Thai warriors are set to headline ONE 161 on September 30 with ONE gold in play.
Joshua Pacio has shared his thoughts on the two competitors and how he sees things going in the highly anticipated Muay Thai showdown.
“I was really impressed with Tawanchai. It’s a phenomenon. I think he’s so precise in his shots and has really powerful kicks. When he senses the arrival, he goes after and throws really big punches. Petchmorakot, I think, is more about technique and throw combinations with volume. He likes to put pressure on his opponents.
‘The Passion’ is expecting a good fight between Petchmorakot and Tawanchai and thinks the fans are in store for a finish.
“It will definitely be a good fight. Given their styles, I think this one is going to end with a finish.
