The Lebanese authorities contacted the Ukrainian embassy in Beirut to request the extradition of a person suspected of collaborating with the Israeli Mossad, who had taken refuge in the diplomatic mission. According to him, on March 10, the Ukrainian embassy requested permission for a Ukrainian who had lost his passport to leave the country through Beirut Airport. Upon investigation, intelligence found that the man was wanted on suspicion of involvement in a Mossad cell that was planning murders and bombings in the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital.
