Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah gave a lucky couple an unforgettable memory by posing for their wedding photo while on international duty with Egypt.
Salah has established himself as a Liverpool icon since joining them from AS Roma in 2017. He has been central to the club’s domestic and European success in recent seasons.
However, the former Chelsea striker is more than an icon in his native Egypt. Being one of the most famous personalities hailing from Sirhe is considered a hero by the people of the country.
It should be noted that the 29-year-old is currently on international duty with the Pharaohs. Egypt are set to host Niger in a friendly match at Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria today (September 23).
Salah will be keen to delight the Egyptian fans when he takes to the pitch later today. However, it seems he didn’t want to wait until game day to make someone’s day because he surprised a newlywed couple on their wedding day.
The couple celebrated their special day and had their wedding celebrated like all the other newlyweds. However, it turns out that they were staying at the same hotel where the pharaohs are stationed.
Incidentally, Salah happened to walk past the couple as they were having their photo taken for their wedding. He decided to make their day by posing for a quick photo before continuing with his responsibilities.

Liverpool’s number 11 can be seen wearing the Egyptian training kit in the video. After giving the newlywed couple a memorable moment on their special day, he will now be looking to impress for his national team later today.
Liverpool’s Salah hasn’t had much joy on the pitch this season
The winger appears to be in good spirits as he prepares to face Niger with Egypt today. However, it should be noted that he hasn’t had much joy on the pitch so far this season.
Liverpool have had a disappointing start to their 2022-23 season, as has the striker. He scored four goals and provided three assists in matches in all competitions for the Reds but largely struggled for form.
The Egyptian’s poor form has also affected the Merseyside-based club’s results. Jurgen Klopp’s side currently sit eighth in the Premier League on nine points, having drawn three and lost one of their six matches so far.
