Football agent Mino Riola is angry over the false news that he is dead.
The 54-year-old – who represents Paul Pogba, Earling Holland, Romelu Lukaku and Sladen Ibrahimovic – was the subject of similar fake news in January.
Riola was pronounced dead at a hospital in Milan on Thursday.
The news went viral, leading Real Madrid to tweet their condolences to Riola’s family.
The Real tweet was quickly deleted after Riola spoke through social media.
“The current health of those who are surprised: p **** d off,” Riola wrote. “They killed me for the second time in 4 months.”
Alberto Sangrilo, head of the anesthesiology and intensive care unit at San Rafael Hospital in Milan, was also outraged.
As The Guardian quoted Dr. Jangrillo as saying: “I’m annoyed by phone calls from fake journalists who speculate on the life of a struggling man.”
A close friend, Jose Forde Rodriguez, told NOS in Holland that “Raiola is in critical condition, but he is not dead.”
