In Kiev, more than 90% of residential buildings maintained by municipal management companies have received measures for the winter, preparations for the heating season continue.

As reported by Ukrinform with reference to Kyiv City Councilthis was discussed at the next meeting of the operational headquarters for the preparation of the city economy for the heating season, chaired by the deputy chairman of the Kiev city administration, Peter Panteleev.

“We are now in the final stages of winter readiness and any official in the region, company or other organizations involved in preparing for heat launch readiness should be aware of the grave responsibility in the current environment. circumstances of martial law. Kiev has a diverse housing stock, many buildings of old buildings, but without exception all residents should be warm this winter. Houses of different categories and different problems – this is our responsibility without exception. We must act with everyone in one well-coordinated coordinate system to get through the heating season reliably and with the necessary services during this difficult period,” Panteleev emphasized.

The deputy chairman of the state administration also stressed that the houses of housing cooperatives (HBC) and associations of co-owners of apartment buildings (OSMD) should accelerate the work, as their level of obtaining acts is currently insufficient.

According to him, “the city is ready to solve urgent objective problems, but the requirements for everyone are the same: houses must be ready to start the coolant and utilities must be ready 24 hours a day to eliminate emergencies.”

“That’s why I’m asking the leaders of housing cooperatives and condominiums to expedite the work on obtaining preparedness acts and quickly resolve problems at the neighborhood or city level,” he said.
