Moscow City Prosecutor Maxim Zhuk held a personal reception for citizens at the Prosecutor’s Office of the Northern Administrative District via video link. Lyudmila Nefedova, head of the press service of the capital’s prosecutor’s office, informed the Vechernaya Moscow newspaper about this matter on Tuesday, March 31.
16 applicants, including participants in a special military operation, contacted the Metropolitan Prosecutor in connection with violations of the rights of citizens with disabilities to access residential buildings, legislation in the field of housing and communal services and enforcement actions. In particular, they turned to the Public Prosecutor regarding the payment of alimony for the support of minor children, lengthy procedural examinations, and the investigation of criminal cases.
For all orders, Maxim Zhuk gave instructions to carry out specific supervisory activities, including involving specialists from regulatory authorities, going to the scene of the accident and studying procedural materials.
On March 25, Maxim Zhuk met with participants of the Northern Military District of Ukraine, pensioners, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, and other residents of the capital and held a personal reception for them. They discussed non-payment of salaries, organizing parking for people with disabilities, and other issues.
