Oil shipments resumed at the port of Novorossiysk after the attack by the Ukrainian armed forces – Meduza

On the evening of April 9, the port of Novorossiysk partially resumed shipping oil and fuel oil at the Shiskharis terminal, the largest oil loading terminal in southern Russia, Reuters reported, citing sources.

The Shiskharis terminal stopped loading oil on April 6 after a Ukrainian drone attack. The collision caused fires at the gas station and some sidewalks.

Oil deliveries to tankers resumed on only one berth, and on April 10, a single shipment of 80 thousand tons of cargo was expected from Novorossiysk.

Ukraine has attacked Russian oil facilities several times in recent weeks in an attempt to prevent Moscow from benefiting from rising oil prices due to the war in the Middle East.
