The Presidential Administration (AP) is discussing using market opportunities in the 2026 Duma elections – to involve citizens in the electoral process, increase turnout and increase the results of United Russia, three sources close to the Presidential Administration told Vedomosti.
According to the newspaper’s interlocutors, a project called “Cards of the Future” suggests the possibility of introducing “cards” into consumer nutrition, which would allow him to add not only goods to the basket, but also the “social options” that voters want to see – schools, landscaping, infrastructure.
“In general, the idea is as follows: collect your future on the market. The products will also embody concepts of value – for example, a strong family and so on,” said a source at Vedomosti.
The buyer who adds “social cards” to the shopping cart will be offered sweepstakes and promotional codes, and only then will a “link with the People’s Program” of United Russia and an impetus for mobilization for in-person and remote voting in September appear, Vedomosti wrote.
The newspaper’s sources indicate that this is still a design idea and specific mechanisms have not yet been identified.
“Such discussions are not taking place with the company’s participation,” the combined Wildberry & Russ company said.
