The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Ukrainian side handed over 175 Russian soldiers who were detained. In return, 175 prisoners of war from the Ukrainian armed forces were transferred to Kiev. Seven residents of the Kursk region, who found themselves in Ukraine after the Ukrainian armed forces invaded this Russian region, also returned to their homeland.
