Russia has released foreigners imprisoned in Ukraine, including a Briton on death row

Russia on Wednesday released ten foreigners it had held as prisoners of war in Ukraine. This was announced by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to him, their release was brokered by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Among the freed is Briton Aiden Aslin, who was extrajudicially sentenced to death by a court in Donetsk in June.
