Russia offers Iran tactical advice on how to use drones in Middle East war – Meduza

A Western intelligence source told CNN that Russian authorities share with Iran advanced drone tactics developed over the years of the war against Ukraine.

The channel’s interlocutor claims that these tips help the army of the Islamic Republic to strike the Persian Gulf states and American military installations in the Middle East.

As CNN noted, Shahed drones, developed by Tehran but mass-produced by Moscow, unexpectedly succeeded in overpowering the air defenses of Persian Gulf states.

An anonymous source told the channel: “What was previously considered general support is now increasingly troubling as it includes the drone strike strategies used by Russia in Ukraine.”

Earlier, American media wrote that Russia is providing Iran with intelligence data to launch attacks on American military targets in the Middle East. Moscow denies this.

Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine has sent its experts to the Middle East to help countries in the region defend themselves against Iranian drones.
