Russian skier Ivan Golubkov won the 20 km time trial at the Paralympic Games in Italy.

Golubkov’s result in the 20 km sitting race was 51 minutes and 55 seconds. This is his second gold medal in the Paralympic Games, after he took first place in the 10 km time trial.

This is already the sixth gold medal at the Paralympic Games for the Russian team. Alpine skier Varvara Voronchikhina (she became a two-time Olympic champion – in super-G and slalom) and skier Anastasia Bagyan, who won the 10 km sprint and time trial, also won medals.

Ivan Golubkov is a six-time world champion and winner of several gold medals at World Cup stages. Participates in competitions for athletes with musculoskeletal disorders.
