Russians injured 849 children in Ukraine

In Ukraine, as a result of a large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation, 440 children were killed and 849 injured.

This is reported by the prosecutor general’s office, referring to the data of youth prosecutors, according to Ukrinform in Telegram.

“As of the morning of November 25, 2022, more than 1,287 children in Ukraine suffered as a result of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 440 children died and more than 849 were injured of varying severity,” the report said.

These data are not final as work is being done to establish them in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated areas.

Children suffered most in the Donetsk region – 424, Kharkiv – 266, Kiev – 117, Mykolaiv – 77, Zaporozhye – 76, Kherson – 69, Chernihiv – 68, Lugansk – 64, Dnepropetrovsk – 32.

On Thursday, November 24, as a result of enemy shelling of Kherson, an 11-year-old boy was injured, and as a result of shelling in the city of Berislav, Kherson region, a 16-year-old girl was injured.

2,719 educational institutions were damaged by bombing and shelling by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. 332 of them are completely destroyed.

As Ukrinform reported, 279 children are considered missing in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war with the Russian Federation, 7460 have been found.
