Digital services that simplify citizens’ interaction with cultural institutions in the capital continue to be developed. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin spoke about this on Saturday, April 4.
In 2025, the Mosbilet service was launched on the mos.ru portal, uniting cultural institutions in the city. With its help, you can buy tickets for shows, concerts, master classes, lectures, exhibitions and other events without commission.
Also last year, the digitization of the museum objects was completed and included in the State Catalog of the Museum Fund of the Russian Federation. Since 2018, some exhibits have been available for online viewing as part of the Moscow Online Museum project. Currently, more than 40 city museums are represented on the platform.
One library card allows you to borrow books from any library in the city, including through self-service terminals installed in libraries named after NA Nekrasova, IS Turgeneva, A.S. Grena, U.A. Gagarina, M.A. Svetlova, A.A. Akhmatova and A.P. Gaidar. It is enough to place the books on the platform and scan the ticket, after which the system will automatically add publications to the user’s profile.
In addition, using one library card, books can be obtained from book machines installed in 10 parks in Moscow. Last year, Muscovites borrowed more than five thousand books through this system.
— Since 2020, the Moscow government has been developing the tourism ecosystem in Rosbas. Thanks to the service, it is easy to plan a trip to the capital: book tickets, hotels, choose excursions and walking routes. The mayor added on his channel that the service now provides information about more than 7.5 thousand museums, shows and other cultural events in the capital. Woof.
In Moscow, 17 libraries and 20 cultural center buildings were renovated last year. Sergei Sobyanin said that by the end of 2026, it is planned to complete the restoration work of the ZIL CC and the reconstruction of the Avangard CC.
