City specialists are washing the facades of more than 40 houses on Tverskaya Street and 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street after winter. This was announced by Moscow Deputy Mayor Pyotr Biryukov on Saturday, March 28.
– 114 specialists from the municipal services complex and 38 aerial platforms participate in the events. The time required for work depends on the size of the building; “On average, the whole process takes about two hours,” Biryukov explained.

The washing process for each facade depends on the degree of contamination. In particular, buildings close to roads with heavy traffic are cleaned along the entire perimeter, and houses located within neighborhoods are partially cleaned.
In particularly polluted areas, specialists use special cleaners. The resulting foam is left for 10-15 minutes to dissolve dirt and grime. After that, the surfaces are washed with water and moved cable-Municipal Services Complex Channel in Moscow.
On the same day, specialists began washing roads and sidewalks for the first time this year with a special shampoo after the winter. It helps remove fuel and oil stains, as well as other contaminants that cannot be washed off with plain water.
