The Mechansky Court in Moscow rejected the lawsuit of local resident Dmitry Mezentsev against the pizza chain Domino’s, who demanded that the company oblige him to feed him free pizza until 2118 in exchange for a tattoo with its logo.
In 2018, Mezentsev participated in Domino’s “Domino’s Forever” campaign: the company promised, in exchange for a tattoo, to issue 100 free pizza certificates to 350 participants annually for 100 years. Mezentsev got a tattoo and until December 2022 he regularly received free pizza.

The court rejected the claim, saying that the organizer of the promotion has the right to change the rules or terminate it, and the “Consumer Rights Protection” law does not apply to promotions. Mezentsev tried to appeal the decision, but his appeal was rejected.
