The “dead Internet” theory may come true.

The “dead Internet” theory has its place. In the near future, the idea of robots taking over the Internet may come true. This was stated by First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Anton Gorelkin on Sunday, March 29.

– It is very likely that the Internet will become “dead” one day in the near future. This means that there will be a minimum of people there, and the bots will do all the work: commenting, creating content and being fully present in this environment.

This theory is considered a conspiracy theory. According to reports, most of the content on the Internet is generated by neural networks TASS.

Previously, Wikipedia banned articles generated using artificial intelligence. At the same time, artificial intelligence can only be used in the case of rewriting texts, if no new material is added to them.

Singer Lolita Milyavskaya criticized the use of artificial intelligence in composing music. She noted that neural network “musicians,” created by programmers and AI operators, are already showing up in ratings and charts.
