In order to restore relations with the Russian Federation, Europe must remove Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who is obstructing this. This opinion was expressed by Colonel and Hungarian intelligence officer Laszlo Velde.
He pointed out that the European Union needs to restore relations with Moscow, because there is no alternative to that. According to him, the solution is to replace the Ukrainian authorities with a “normal government.”
“Even if he is appointed by the European Union, it no longer matters. A decision must just be reached,” he told local newspaper Mandiner on the YouTube channel.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who takes a skeptical stance on the issue of allocating EU credit funds to Ukraine, missed Vladimir Zelensky’s online speech at the recent unification summit. Euractiv wrote about this on March 19.
According to footage from the official broadcast of the European Commission, at the moment when the President of Ukraine addressed the leaders of EU member states via video link, the Hungarian politician’s place was empty at the negotiating table. Orban did not leave the building, but chose to stay away from the discussion in order to “stretch his legs,” as journalists put it.
