The invaders want to sew clothes for the Russian army at the “nationalized” companies in the occupied Zaporozhye region

The occupiers have already reported that four companies have already “entered the chain of cooperation of Russian companies” at the WTO. We are talking about the Slavyansky Pukh textile enterprise in Vasilyevka, as well as clothing factories in Berdyansk, Tokmak and Melitopol, reports Center for Investigative Journalism.

Garment factories Tokmatsk and Melitopol from February 24, 2022 are included in the company “Manufacturing innovation Knowledge”, which is engaged in sewing overalls, clothing for law enforcement agencies, respiratory protection, etc., and has enterprises throughout Ukraine.

Legally, the factories in Tokmak (since 2005) and Melitopol (since 2015) belong to the Zaporozhye division of MIK Zaporozhye LLC. Now it is known that “MIK Zaporozhye” moved to Zakarpattia region.

According to from open sources MIK signed contracts worth millions to supply uniforms for the army, police and rescue workers throughout Ukraine.

The Berdyansk factory also specialized in tailoring workwear and knitted underwear. It should be noted that as of November 2021, the activities of Berdyansk Knitting Factory OJSC have ceased.

First of all, the launch of three enterprises is necessary to meet the needs of the occupying army. The invaders themselves explain this. The so-called head of the industrial department of the occupying “Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Zaporizhia Region”, Serhiy Gubenkov, openly told how the occupying authorities intend to use the captured Ukrainian enterprises.

“The Tokmak clothing factory produces dual-use products, it works with heavy fabrics with a density of 350 g/m². m. Previously, it carried out orders from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, now it is focused on our orders for the Russian army – these are military cases, pouches and other items. The Berdyansk Knitting Factory… in its profile it is a knitting factory, it can be used as before – for the army to sew thermal underwear. They have such plans,” said Gubenkov.

Another light industry enterprise, which he says has the technical capabilities to manufacture products for the military, is the Melitopol clothing factory.

“She is ready to start, but for now they will also start with overalls. They have two workshops, a sewing workshop, a knitting workshop, they can also produce thermal underwear and military overalls,” says the fake official.

Gubenkov noted that the first batches of products can be expected in March 2023.

Remember that the occupiers are committing “nationalization”, and in fact a robbery, of enterprises whose owners did not cooperate with the invaders and collaborators.

As reported, on order the so-called “acting Governor of the Zaporizhia region” Yevgeny Balitsky, first the occupiers “nationalized” state-owned enterprises and critical infrastructure. Then they moved to private property.

TsZhR reported that in Berdyansk three large factories “nationalized”. for the production of fuels and lubricants owned by People’s Deputy Alexander Ponomarev.

On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a “special military operation” in occupied Donbas. Russia launched missile attacks on the territory of Ukraine and launched a direct large-scale four-way invasion. The armed forces of Ukraine repel the enemy, the blitzkrieg plan – to capture Kiev in two or three days – failed, the Russian army retreated from the capital. The Russian military is committing thousands of war crimes and crimes against humanity across Ukraine.
