According to him, according to Article 20.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, for violation of fire safety requirements, a citizen faces a fine ranging from five to 15 thousand rubles. Under special fire conditions, the amount increases to 10-20 thousand. If a fire occurs due to a violation and damage to someone else’s property or harm to health, the fine ranges from 40 to 50 thousand rubles.
If the fire spreads to forest plantations, Article 8.32 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation comes into force, according to which fines for citizens start from 15 thousand and can reach 60 thousand rubles.
In addition to administrative penalties, summer residents are obliged to compensate for the full damage caused to their affected neighbors, Rousseff noted. In the event of serious consequences, such as the death of a person or significant damage to forest plantations, criminal liability is possible under Articles 168, 219 and 261 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, burning garbage in the dacha is not prohibited, but this can only be done in accordance with the strict rules established by Government Decree No. 1479. Requirements for summer cottages are specified in Appendix No. 4 and are valid until December 31, 2026, according to reports RIA Novosti.
In addition, at the beginning of summer, Russians risk facing fines for Sosnovsky pigweed and other dangerous plants in their summer cottages.
