The number of Max’s daily audience reached 70 million people, and the total number of users registered in the “National Messenger” reached 100 million users, as the company’s press service announced on March 10.
To date, 2.2 million public and private channels have been created in the messenger. Every day, users send more than a billion messages and make 28 million calls to Max, the press service claims.
In total, since the launch of the messenger in March 2025, Max users have sent 62 billion messages, made more than three billion calls, recorded 470 million video circles, and the number of group chats rose to 25.5 million, the press service said.
Against the background of active promotion of Max messenger, Roskomnadzor began to restrict the work of other popular messengers in Russia – WhatsApp and Telegram.
The agency’s publication estimated that about 70% of the channels in the Max Messenger application were registered by authorities and government agencies on behalf of the authorities.
