Military Commissioner of Yakutia Alexander Avdonin told the media – civilians called up on mobilization and going to serve in the special operations zone will receive from 205 thousand rubles depending on position and military rank.

A decent amount. To understand where it comes from, we turned to one of the Moscow military commissariats.

“Yes, it can be,” the employee told us. – Maybe even a lot more.

As indicated Vladimir Putin in his address, the now mobilized civilians will be equated with contract soldiers. This means that their surcharge must be calculated according to “contract standards”.

“Today, a soldier from the Russian Ministry of Defense for one day in hostilities receives an additional payment of 7,800 rubles (only in combat operations you can earn 241,000 rubles per month!!!”), noted the military registration and recruitment agency. – At the end of the month, the commander hands in a financial report of military with closed combat days and the amount is added to the monthly fee

The key word here is “added”. That is, also a salary (in the military it is called “allowance”).

According to the Russian Defense Ministry:

platoon commander, lieutenant – receives more than 50,000 rubles per month,

important – about 95,000 rubles,

Colonel – more than 100,000 rubles.

The numbers are approximate. It all depends on the length of service, position and what kind of compensation the fighter receives. Served 2-5 years – get a salary for a military position “for seniority” – 10%, over 25 years – 40%. Professor or Master of Sports – plus 60% and 100% respectively.

“But is it really in the military that the strong are valued more than the smart,” you ask. No. Such a difference is because it is too expensive to educate, feed and dress a professional soldier, then treat him for the entire service. So health comes first.

There are additional payments – for “special terms of service” and participation in special operations. This is from 25% of the salary. They also pay for prizes. For medals: “For military decoration”, “For military prowess”, “For demining” give a salary increase of 10 to 30%.

In other words, the salary of a contract soldier of the Russian Ministry of Defense depends on many factors. On the Ministry of Defense website even have salary calculatorwith which you can discover some regularities.

And this is even without those per diems (according to the labor law in Russia, a business trip is paid for $53 a day) and rewards for destroyed enemy equipment.

According to unofficial information:

Capture of the HIMARS launcher – 1 million rubles,

destruction of an aircraft, HIMARS launcher, Tochka-U – 300,000 rubles,

helicopter – 200,000 rubles,

tank – 100,000 rubles,

any armored combat vehicle, self-propelled guns, anti-aircraft guns, tactical missiles, multiple missile systems – 50,000 rubles.

(money is paid to all fighters who participated in the elimination of the target)

As a result, according to the information of the participants of the special operation in Donbass, contractors receive on average about 200 thousand rubles.

But it is also important to take into account the fundamental principle of command and control in any army – unit of command. Here the commander feeds, heals, marries and buries. The commander also rewards. It is at his discretion that the fighter receives all the bonuses.

Incidentally, all the money goes into an account that can be used by family members of a military. So the money is not lost.

INCIDENTALLY

Thanks to the risk, contractors and officers were given the right to the status of “fighter” and an additional payment to the pension of about 3.5 thousand rubles.

FROM THE HISTORY OF QUESTION

Until 2001, Russian officers were paid 950 rubles on top of their salary per day in the area of the counter-terrorism operation in Chechnya. But this money was not given to everyone, but only to those fighters who actually traveled outside Khankala and took part in hostilities.

During the Great Patriotic War they were also decorated for good service. In 2018, the Ministry of Defense Finance Department opened an exhibition on military finance at the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of Russia.

They showed the pay books of the soldiers of the Red Army of the 1918 model and the distribution lists of world famous officers. According to declassified documents, the commander of the air division, Colonel Alexander Pokryshkin, received 1800 rubles per month. And the commander of the department of the guard, Colonel Vasily Stalin – 5095 rubles.

For each crashed plane, their pilot received 1,000 rubles.

For a crashed tank, the shooter of an anti-tank rifle was entitled to 500 rubles, and the soldier who stopped the tank with a grenade – 1000 rubles. If the tank was set on fire by a group of fighters, they were awarded 1500 rubles for everyone.

Then the money was taken to the front in iron regimental vaults. They used to be buried in the ground during the encirclement and years later they were found and the funds returned to the budget.

Snipers made good money off the Nazis.

In the museum, next to the jacket of the famous sniper Vasily Zaitsev, who killed 225 Fritz, is a 1942 warrant signed by Joseph Stalin. It follows that the sniper corporal had a salary of 25 rubles per month. But if he accurately and regularly beat the bastard, he received the rank of sergeant with a salary of 35 rubles, and in the third year of service he already earned 200 rubles.

AND FURTHER

For foreign citizens, a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense for 5 years allows them to obtain Russian citizenship for 3 years and continue to serve as a citizen of Russia. And after 20 years of contract service, you can get an apartment from the Ministry of Defense.

After the first contract, if the former foreign citizen is under 24 years old, the doors of the universities of the Ministry of Defense and the opportunity to obtain an officer rank are opened. And when the age is older, there are benefits for admission to a budget place in a civil higher education institution of your choice.
