The next season of the Ice Age program on Channel One has ended. Many couples prepared strong and bright performances for the final.
The first place was shared by two couples: Alexandra Stepanova with Ivan Skobrev and Tatiana Totmyanina with Fedor Fedotov. Silver medals went to Elizaveta Tuktamysheva and Mark Rudakovsky, and Tatiana Volosozhar and Semyon Elistratov took an honorable third place.
Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Skobrev, who reached the final as nominees, performed Vivaldi’s music. The skater noted that each of their programs was unique, and this time they once again managed to surprise the audience.
Tatiana Volosozhar and Semyon Elistratov were reincarnated as an angel and a devil, and at the end of their performance a circle of fire erupted around them. The judges also noted that the pair skated at high speeds all season, and the final was no exception.
Other obvious contenders for victory – Tatiana Totmyanina and Fyodor Fedotov – also managed to maintain a high level of technique and technical skill.

Choreographer Ildar Jenutdinov, fiancé of figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva, said he refused to participate in the Ice Age show as a contestant, despite the offer he received. According to him, the decision is due to the high risk of injury and lack of experience in skating, which interferes with his professional activities.
