The provision of medical services resumes in the liberated areas of the Kharkiv . region

According to Ukrinform, this is reported by Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.

“Currently, 34 EHR teams are monitoring health, of which 14 have been reinforced from the regional center. Basic assistance is provided in the medical facilities of Izyum and Balakliya,” the report said.

It is also noted that in the Balakliya community there are teams of emergency medical centers and disaster medicine centers, which are received on an outpatient basis on the road and on the basis of adapted outpatient clinics.

Medical facilities in the liberated areas have suffered varying degrees of damage, but an algorithm for their recovery is already being worked out. In the near future, a mobile hospital will be deployed in the unoccupied areas, where primary medical services will be provided. In addition, a network of pharmacies resumes operations in Balakleya.

The Ministry of Reintegration recalls that IDPs can be admitted to any medical facility if it is able to provide the necessary treatment and are entitled to free medicines while in hospital or under the Affordable program medicine.
