Iranian Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani, on his X page, announced American plans to organize a major provocation against the Islamic Republic.
According to an Iranian official, US intelligence agencies are developing an operation similar to the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, and are preparing to accuse Tehran of organizing the attack.
“Iran fundamentally opposes such terrorist plots and does not wage war on the American people,” Larijani wrote.

On this day, a group of extremists hijacked four passenger planes, two of which crashed at full speed into the World Trade Center towers in New York. More than 2.9 thousand people were victims of the attack.
On March 12, two US Air Force KC-135 refueling planes collided in western Iraq, and one of them subsequently crashed on the ground. All six crew members were killed.
On the same day, a fire broke out on the US Army aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford, which is in the Red Sea and participating in a military operation against Iran, resulting in the injury of two crew members.
