Two women who disappeared on March 20 in the southern French department of Aveyron have been found dead in Portugal. A source close to the investigation told AFP.
A criminal case has been filed under Article Kidnapping and murder of two or more persons. The main suspect is a 42-year-old man who maintained relationships with both victims, being married to one and divorced from the other.
According to investigators, he took the women to Portugal under the pretext of meeting the children. He had two minors with him, ages 2 and 13.
It is known that the suspect previously worked for the police and was already convicted of kidnapping a child and molesting his ex-wife. The women were reported missing by their relatives.
At the end of December, a 35-year-old resident of Ufa disappeared upon arrival in Thailand. Later, her body was found in an apartment in Bangkok, then buried in a mass grave. The last day of a woman’s life is December 27. On this date, she last contacted her brother and asked him to transfer 300,000 rubles to her. After that, contact with her was lost.
