The monthly deficit of Ukraine’s state budget is $5 billion.

This is what President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a conversation with the university community in Chile, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“We really want our economy to recover. Today we are suffering. We have minus $5 billion monthly. I mean such a big deficit,” Zelensky said, pointing out that it is very difficult to pay people salary.

At the same time, he assured that the economy would be restored.

As Ukrinform reported, on February 24, the Russian Federation launched a new phase of the eight-year war against Ukraine – a large-scale offensive.
