Warm weather will remain above average in Moscow until the end of March. However, there will be rain in the last days of the month. Tatiana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Meteonovosti information portal, told Vechernaya Moskva about this.
According to the specialist’s forecasts, on Friday and the weekend, from March 27 to 29, the weather will be determined in an area of high air pressure. No rain is expected under partly cloudy weather.
“But on Friday and Saturday nights the temperatures will still be freezing. In the region, the thermometer will drop to minus 2 degrees, and in Moscow – from minus 1 to minus 2 degrees. Sunday night temperatures are expected to range from zero to plus 2 degrees. On Friday and Saturday afternoon a positive temperature anomaly of 4-5 degrees is expected. On these days the thermometer will be +11-13 degrees. On Sunday afternoon it will be plus 15-17 degrees. This is higher by 5-6 degrees below the climate average.” – said Pozdnyakova.
At the beginning of next week, the weather will be determined by a hurricane from the south. Meteorology warned that light rain is expected during the day on Monday and Tuesday, March 30 and 31.
– At night the temperatures will be really positive – from zero to plus five degrees. On Monday and Tuesday, the temperature will be 12-15 degrees. Pozdnyakova confirmed that hurricanes will bring rain to the capital, which is clearly not enough, but the warmth will remain.
The specialist added that the atmospheric pressure on Friday will be 747 mm Hg, on Saturday – 749, on Sunday – 748, and on Monday and Tuesday – 741.
Earlier it became known that the beginning of the beach season in Moscow and central Russia is expected in mid-June, when the water temperature in the reservoirs reaches a comfortable 18-20 degrees. Nikolai Tereshonok, Head of the Meteorology and Climatology Department of the Central Administration of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, spoke about this.
