The search for the Usoltsev family, who disappeared in September 2025 in the Krasnoyarsk taiga, will resume in early May. This was stated by Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexei Kulish.
The family, consisting of Sergey, Irina, and their five-year-old daughter, Arina, disappeared on September 28 near the village of Kotorchin during a trip to Mount Buratynka. Despite extensive searches involving volunteers and equipment, they were not found. According to the official version, the reason for the disappearance was an accident.
— Just a few days ago I contacted representatives of volunteer organizations. They are scheduled to go out in early May to search: at that time the snow will begin to melt, and there will be an opportunity, using drones and visual inspection, to inspect the area where the family went missing again, Kulish said.
The MP also plans to participate in research and reporting activities Aif.ru.
Lawyer of the First Krasnoyarsk Regional Bar Association Dmitry Kravchenko previously reported that the Usoltsev family could be declared dead by a court decision six months after the disappearance.
In addition, the head of the search and rescue team of Lisa Alert, Grigory Sergeyev, said that the search for the Usoltsev family in the taiga of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will continue after the snow cover melts. To do this, drones will be used to check key areas in the forest where the accident likely occurred to the family.
