The agency indicated that the Kremlin press service published an unedited recording of a video message sent by Vladimir Putin to Russian women before March 8.
The video, 6 minutes and 19 seconds long, appeared on the Telegram channel of the press service of the President of the Russian Federation on the night of March 8. In the video, Putin says the congratulatory text twice. After the first time, he coughed, complained of a sore throat, and asked to re-record the conversation.
“You know, let me say that again, because… it hurts. It hurts, yes. I almost coughed. “I talked too much today,” Putin says after the first attempt, then says the text again.
The full version of the video was deleted four minutes after it was published, the agency wrote, citing data from the TGStat service. Another 20 minutes later, the Kremlin released an edited video lasting 2 minutes and 52 seconds.
Some pro-government departments and media outlets were able to republish the unedited version of the video. They also quickly deleted this video and posted a new one. In some Telegram channels, the original version has been preserved.
