On the night of March 12, Ukrainian drones bombed an oil refining complex in Tikhoretsk, Krasnodar Territory. A fire broke out in the refinery, and footage of it appeared on social media.
The head of the Tikhoretsky region, Anatoly Perepilin, confirmed on his VKontakte page that “during a drone attack” a fire broke out at the refinery. He added that emergency services were trying to put out the fire, but no casualties were reported.
The Tikhoretsk oil hub, reminiscent of Astra, is one of the largest oil transportation points in southern Russia.
