Actor Ivan Okhlobystin admitted that he faced serious problems due to an ingrown toenail. He said the pain was so severe that he could not walk on his feet and bought shoes two sizes larger.
According to the artist, the fashion designers informed him of the diagnosis – he himself did not understand what was happening. Busyness kept him from seeing a doctor: Okhlobystin worked on four projects at once, two of which required dancing. After seeing treatment methods on the Internet, he feared that the procedure would disrupt filming.
Okhlobystin remembers how he broke out in a cold sweat during dance rehearsals. Only after filming was completed was he able to see a podiatrist. When the problem was solved, the artist had an unexpected “Zen revelation”: during the pain, all thoughts were only about the leg, and other problems faded into the background.
“You see how a person’s psychological state is: once he is treated, everything comes back at once.” Some decisions had to be made, and someone had to evaluate. “So it would be better if my leg continues to hurt instead of all the other problems,” he said in an interview. mk.ru.
Earlier, Okhlobystin, in cooperation with the Orion Humanitarian Initiatives Foundation, began a new package of aid to meet the needs of the Northern Military District. The result of the last collection was the actor’s trip with his wife Oksana to Donetsk just before the New Year: where the artist delivered gifts to “children in the shelter and adult children in the trenches.” In an interview with “Moscow Evening”, Okhlobystin spoke about the strength of the Russian people and why Russia will save the world with its victory in the Northern Military District.
