Valeeva fell while performing a quadruple sheepskin coat at the Channel One Cup

Russian skater Kamila Valeeva took fourth place in the short program at the team tournament of the First Channel Cup held in St. Petersburg. While skating, the athlete fell while performing the fourth sheepskin coat.

Best in the short program was three-time Russian champion Adelia Petrosyan with a score of 76.45, who performed a quadruple toe loop. As part of the First Channel Cup, single skaters are allowed to perform quadruple jumps in the short program, while this is prohibited at the ISU Championships.

Adelia Petrosyan also became the captain of the Moscow team in the 2026 Channel One Cup.
