In 10 districts of the North-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, construction of large-scale social infrastructure continues, including educational, sports, medical and cultural facilities. Most buildings are built at the expense of investors. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction Policy, Vladimir Efimov.
The opening of new educational facilities will enable residents of the area to obtain pre-school and school education services close to home, and sports facilities will allow citizens to maintain good physical fitness and attend various sporting events close to home.
The social infrastructure in the northeast of the capital will be renovated with new facilities to be built in 10 districts. 23 facilities are currently being built, 14 of which are educational facilities. Their commission will provide more than six thousand places in schools and kindergartens. Sports projects are also being actively implemented here – an equestrian arena, a multifunctional Dynamo sports and swimming center, a football stadium and five sports and entertainment complexes, Vladimir Efimov said.
In addition, a park pavilion is being built in the Ostankino district. Among the notable educational projects being implemented in the North-Eastern Administrative District is a kindergarten in the Ostankino district on Selskokhozyaystvennaya Street.
— The building with an area of 4.2 thousand square meters is designed for 200 children. There will be eight group cells inside with a full range of buildings: from locker rooms to bedrooms. For classes with children, there is a room for developmental activities, as well as rooms for music and physical education. The architecture of the building is designed in a modern style. The facades will be finished with decorative tiles in warm copper-brown and orange tones diluted with light gray inserts. Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Metropolitan Urban Development Policy Department, added that this solution will allow the facility to organically fit into the surrounding development.
Social infrastructure facilities are implemented under the supervision of Moscow surveillance specialists.
— At every stage of construction of schools, kindergartens and recreational centers in the north-east of the capital, Mosgostronadzor conducts site inspections. In total, more than 100 monitoring and supervisory events have already been organized at these sites. The Commission’s inspectors evaluated the compliance of the work performed and materials used with the requirements of design documents and approved architectural and urban planning solutions. “This ensures the quality and safety of the buildings during their further operation,” added Anton Slobodchikov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mosgostroenadzor.
In the vicinity there will be sports games, playgrounds with canopies, an area for public events, sidewalks and green spaces. An integrated approach to landscaping will provide a comfortable and safe environment for children and parents.
