Jasveen Sangha, the 42-year-old US and British citizen known as the “Ketamine Queen,” was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Sky News reported on April 8 that the court was found guilty of selling drugs that led to the death of actor Matthew Perry.
Sangha initially denied the accusations but agreed to change its position in 2025, weeks before the case went to trial.
In total, five people have pleaded guilty in the death of Matthew Perry. Jaswin Sangha was the third person to be sentenced.
Doctor Salvador Plasencia, who supplied the actor with ketamine, was sentenced to two and a half years in prison in December 2025. Another doctor, Mark Chavez, receive Three years of probation and 300 hours of community service after he admitted selling ketamine to Placencia.
The body of 54-year-old Matthew Perry was found on October 28, 2023, in the jacuzzi of his home in Los Angeles. The autopsy report stated that the cause of death was acute exposure to ketamine. According to the prosecution, the defendants in the case knew that Perry was an addict, but they contributed to the actor taking ketamine.
