In the world of fashion, where trends change one another at a rapid pace, some items, such as soft leather bags and scarves, remain unchanged companions of style for decades. Fashion expert and artistic director of the French brand Michel Catana Natalia Semenova spoke about this.
“A high-quality bag made of soft leather has no age, it is earned with you,” Semenova noted.
Such a thing is not just a fashionable accent, but the first serious investment in yourself. It “remembers” life’s important moments, from business trips to leisurely walks, and turns random coffee stains into part of a unique design. The main rule is minimalism: simple shape, premium material, breathable leather, hidden seams and comfortable handles that allow you to carry the bag on your shoulder.

Therefore, at the age of 30, the scarf can be turned into a voluminous cap by wrapping it in several layers. By the age of 50, it has transformed into an elegant scarf, allowing the texture of the material to speak for itself. The only difference is in the approach: youth chooses chaotic fabrics, and maturity – controlled softness. Synthetic fabrics show age, while natural fibers – cashmere, merino or silk – hide it.
A silk scarf is an accessory that can “speak different languages” depending on age. At the age of 30, it can become a bright accent: tied on the head instead of a collar, on a bag as a keychain, or on the wrist instead of a bracelet. At the age of fifty, the same scarf turns into an instrument of elegance: it is folded diagonally and tied under the coat collar, creating the effect of “expensive simplicity.”

At 30, they can be a symbol of courage – short, acid-colored gloves complement a leather jacket for going to prom. At 50 – a manifestation of self-respect: long gloves made of thin suede, worn with a straight coat to go to the theater.
“But there is one model that always works,” says Semenova. “These are classic wrist-length leather gloves with elegant stitching. You can wear them at 30 for a date, and at 50 for a business meeting.
