Pro-government blogger and informant Ilya Remislo has been released from a psychiatric hospital; A post about this appeared on his Telegram channel. He spent 30 days in the clinic.
Remislo stated in the post that he was “completely clean of substances and alcohol” at the time of his admission to the hospital. According to him, conditions in the hospital are “very difficult” and are allegedly worse than in the colony. As an example of the difficult conditions, the blogger pointed to the lack of walking in the hospital.
“Harsh criticism of senior government officials has its costs – remember that. <...> I don’t regret what I did in essence, but if I did it now, I would use more measured and balanced formulas, without taking a personal stance. “I intend to further eliminate this deficiency,” Remislo wrote.
The blogger promised to tell us in the coming days “why all this happened” and what he will do next.
42-year-old Ilya Remyslo is a pro-Kremlin blogger who has built his reputation in the fight against Alexei Navalny. He claimed that because of his conviction, a criminal case was opened against the politician on charges of fraud with donations.
In March, Kraft criticized Vladimir Putin. The president was accused of starting the war, damaging the Russian economy, censoring the Internet and the media, seizing power and suppressing the opposition.
A few days after publication, it became known that Kraft had been admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Some pro-government bloggers believe that Remyslow tried in this way to escape criminal prosecution for criticizing Putin.
