In the Moscow region, snow and frost reaching minus 3 degrees are expected on the night of April 20. This was reported by the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation.
Experts explained: “Light rain in the form of snow and frost is possible next night, and the air temperature in the capital will be from zero to plus two degrees, and in the region – from minus 3 to plus two degrees.”
The representative of the Hydrometeorological Center noted that moderate precipitation in the form of rain and sleet is also possible in the Moscow region on the afternoon of Monday, April 20. The air temperature will rise to 5-7 degrees Celsius in Moscow and 3-8 degrees in the region. Winds will be northerly at a speed of 6-11 m/s, reaching a speed of 15 m/s in some areas.
Forecasters also reminded of possible icy conditions on roads overnight TASS.
Earlier, the chief specialist of the Phobos Meteorological Center, Mikhail Liu, warned that a snow cover with a height of about one centimeter on Monday, April 20, may form in the Moscow region. Night temperatures are expected to reach 2 degrees Celsius in some areas.
