Channel One presenter Alexei Pimanov has died; “His heart could not take it,” the TV channel reported on April 23. Pimanov was 64 years old.
Alexei Pimanov has been presenting the program “Man and the Law” since 1996. In 1996-2010, he headed the Ostankino Television Company (formerly RTS), which produces a number of programs for Channel One.
Due to the large-scale invasion of Russian forces in Ukraine, Pimanov, as a propagandist, has been subjected to sanctions from the European Union, Great Britain and other countries.
