New People’s Faction deputies proposed creating separate check-in desks at airports for families with children. A similar appeal was sent to the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation.
The document indicates that it is desirable to organize such counters primarily at large airports and during periods of high load. It is also suggested to set a specific age for children, for example up to 12 years.
The parliamentarians pointed out that families are now registered under general conditions, which creates additional difficulties, especially when traveling with young children.

Sheremetyevo Airport announced the launch of a trial on boarding passengers on flights using biometrics, which begins on June 1, 2026. As part of the pilot project, passengers will be able to board the plane without presenting a passport, the airport’s press service said.
