Metropolitan Mayor Sergei Sobyanin spoke about this, noting that due to changes in the economy and labor market, the demand for short training programs that allow one to quickly master a new profession is growing.
According to him, in response to this demand, the city is working to develop modern methods of training and retraining, focusing on the required specializations and practical skills. In September, the practical training center “Professions of the Future” was opened in the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone in Pechatniki, where you can master one of 75 professions or improve your skills in up to 3 months.
Sobyanin confirmed that the center is equipped with more than five thousand pieces of equipment and includes 35 workshops that simulate the main sectors of the economy. The programs are developed in partnership with employers and are practice-oriented, and the site will be able to graduate up to 15,000 professionals annually.
