The Ministry of Digital Development announced that on May 9, mobile Internet access in Moscow will be restricted, including the “whitelisting” of sites and the SMS exchange service.
The ministry’s statement said this was necessary “to ensure the safety of celebrations for Victory Day on May 9.”
Meanwhile, there are no plans to disable or restrict mobile internet in Moscow on May 7-8, according to the Ministry of Digital Development.
