Police arrested two teenagers over a series of nighttime thefts in the Moscow region

Police officers arrested two 15-year-old teenagers in Zhukovsky who were robbing stores at night. The young men were able to steal money and equipment with a total value of about 200 thousand rubles. This was reported on Thursday, May 7 by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region.

The teenagers stole alcohol and six thousand rubles from a grocery store on Garniev Street. Young people also entered the shopping complex on Nizhigorodskaya Street. There they visited a studio, where they stole a laptop, and a dental clinic, where they took a smartphone. The teenagers also committed thefts from bread and tobacco shops. A criminal case was opened against the men. Both suspects were released on their own recognizance.

Previously, a man named Miller and his accomplices stole tobacco products worth 850,000 rubles from a tobacco shop in Podolsk. The attackers also stole more than four thousand rubles from the cash register. The man was arrested and later sentenced to two and a half years in prison. He was also ordered to pay more than 830,000 rubles to the injured party.
