A resident of Switzerland, returning from vacation in Germany, attracted the attention of border guards due to the presence of an unusually large amount of luggage – the woman was carrying 55 suitcases with her. This was reported by Bild newspaper on Sunday, May 31.
During the examination, the tourist had to unload all her bags from the car, and each one of them was examined using an X-ray machine. Nothing prohibited was found in the baggage.
– The woman has 55 bags. Each of them is examined by an X-ray machine. Result: Everything is fine. The newspaper says that the tourist does not carry in her luggage anything that she is prohibited from bringing to Switzerland material.
The border guards confirmed that no legal requirements had been violated, and they allowed the tourist to continue her journey. According to Swiss law, residents of the country have the right to import personal items without paying duties if these items have previously been taken out of the country.
Earlier in Vietnam, law enforcement officers arrested a Khabarovsk resident named Grubb, who flew from Bangkok, picked up bags from other flights and returned to his home country.
